Our new reality in past weeks is uncertainty. As the world faces a threatening pandemic, all of us at RG175 hope for your safety and strength as you lead your school community. We know your days are full, whether you are head of school, trustee, or senior leader. It is far from school as usual. We cannot think of a time where it is more important for everyone across school communities to lean on each other in full support. The quality of leadership has never been more critical, where the welfare of your school depends upon it.
Keeping the focus on safety and support for each other, the RG175 group will bring all the necessary creativity and resources to continue our work with you. No one can know how long coronavirus will be with us. But our independent and international schools must continue to provide the best of teaching and learning and school leadership. We do believe that strength comes from adversity, and we will continue our work with schools, bringing fresh ideas to meet this silent and vivid challenge.
Again, be safe, focus on the needs of your young people and school community, and never hesitate to let us know how we too can help and support. Best to face a new reality of uncertainty together.
